Whenever you plug in a device the system finds a suitable driver for the device and installs it. When the device is removed the drivers still are on the system, and many files are added to the core folders.Use GhostBuster to displays the drivers on your system, separating it into different groups, so that they are easily identifiable. A important thing don't remove that named Generic devices with out knowing it.
